Getting going
Checklist for new clients
If you have a client in mind who would benefit from the advantages of MailCampaign, here is how you can help them getting started and achieve the best possible results.
The ‘definition’ of permission
This is the basis around which MailCampaign operates and it is important that both you and your client are aware of who you can’t send mail to.
Default
There is no need to start from scratch in designing templates, and we don’t recommend that you do. We have created default template for you and all you will have to do is change your logo with ours. Download now.
Remember however that when you make adjustments to the template to test before sending.
Best practices
Maximum width for HTML mails
We suggest keeping the width for HTML mails between 550-600 pixels, try not to go over 650 pixels maximum to avoid scrolling.
CSS or tables
For CSS to ensure maximum compatibility you may be required to do the inline CCS route. You may often have to stay thin on the design side with CSS to ensure maximum compatibility with major email clients.
Use tables where required but design elements within tables may even be required to be styled inline.
